Apparently a 14-year staple in Lloydminister, this delightful surprise (to me) had recently moved to its new location right along Highway 16. The old business sign was still up on the building so I drive past it at first. The owner is in the process of refurbishing and has done a great job inside - assume the exterior will be done in the future. Regardless, the food was delicious and price was great! Will definitely stop on again on our travels!

The bbq pork rice was very tasty and big pieces of meat! Sweetn sour pork was ok. Bit too much sauce. Wonton soup was delicious! The service was extremely fast and the lady was so friendly. Will definitely return !

One of the best Asian restaurants in Lloydminster. You will be full from the huge dishes. Great food if your looking for Chinese.

Passing through Lloyd on a roadtrip and as we were driving along looking for somewhere to get fast food from, on a whim we decided to get food to go from Shangri-La. Wow. The veggies in the Shrimp and Broccoli were so fresh and the veggies and shrimp were cooked to perfection! The Beef Shanghai Noodles were so flavourful, the beef slices were incredibly tender and juicy, and the noodles were cooked really well; not too chewy and not smooshy soft either. We also had the Shrimp Shanghai Noodles and they were equally delicious and perfectly cooked! Nice amount of bean sprouts, sliced onion, and sliced cabbage, and a wee bit of julienned carrots for some colour. The Sweet and Sour Ribs were in a really great tasting homemade sweet and sour sauce (if you'relooking for that red gluey kind of s&s, keep going, because this is not the kind they use here!). They aren't boneless ribs, and are actually the kind with the white gristle-y bones...these are my favourite kind and I was ecstatic to discover them! Every piece had a nice big juicy chunk of pork that was cooked to perfection and fall off the bone! The Spring Rolls (4 pcs) were also very yummy and nice and crispy! They seem homemade, with a very tasty bit of flavourful veggies inside. We got everything to go and all of it was ready in less than 15 minutes. If you're really in a hurry, you could call ahead. If you're eating on the go, be sure to ask for chopaticks/utensils, as none came in the bag, but there was plenty of soy sauce and plum sauce. The inside of the restaurant was very cozy and cute, with some beautiful massive koi in a tank in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely would order from here again on our next trip through!!!

Excellent food. I get takeout all the time! The restaurant is somewhat worn down, but is in a good location on Yellowhead highway 16 through Lloyd. They will do well. Tell the truckers and families traveling through

The best Chinese restaurant in Lloydminster, with a friendly owner who serves the customers with genuine care and hospitality, a good chef, and spacious seating area. The food tastes authentic. The owner is so good to chat with, especially when the owner recommends a few cuisines. Really enjoy having the meal here! Thank you.
